Educational Qualifications:
A. For General Recruitment Candidates: Intermediate or equivalent examination recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh including mere appearance for first and Second year examination of Intermediate in-respect of SC/ST candidates.
B. For Land Loosers: Intermediate/ SSC + ITI 2 years’ duration course.
Application Fee: Rs.500/- (Rs.350/- for examination fee plus Rs.150/- towards application registration fee) for OC candidates and candidates belonging to other states. In respect of SC/ST/BC it shall be Rs.150/- towards application registration fee. Prescribed Registration Fee must be paid in any one of the AP Online Centers or AP Online Portal on or before 25-05-2013.

Date and Timings of DIETCET:

DIETCET will be conducted on 31st May 2013 in all the Districts of the State. The test will be conducted from 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM (2 hours)




Fee and submission of Application Online:

The  fee prescribed  for appearing  for DIETCET  (including examination  fee)  is Rs. 200/-  (Rupees Two hundred only).  Candidates can pay  the  fee  through APONLINE  or  e-Seva  centers  between  12.04.2013  and  25.04.2013  and submit  online  application at  the  DIETCET  website  http://dietcet.cgg.gov.in between 13.04.2013 and 26.04.2013.





Procedure for submission of application online:

Detailed procedure  for applying ONLINE  is given  in  the  Information Bulletin. Candidates  can  download  the ‘Information  Bulletin’ free  of  cost  from  the DIETCET  website:  http://dietcet.cgg.gov.in  from  12.04.2013  onwards. Candidates  can  submit  their  applications  through  online  from  13.04.2013  to 26.04.2013.





Examination Centers for  DIETCET  May, 2013

DIETCET  shall be  conducted  in all  the 23 Districts of  the State.  Candidate can choose any Examination Centre (District) of his choice.  However, when the  capacity of any particular Examination Centre  (District) gets exhausted that particular Examination Centre (District) will not be displayed in the list of examination centers given  in  the online application  form.  In such case  the candidate has to choose Examination Centre (District) of his/her choice from the remaining list available.




Eligibility Criteria for Admission :

A. Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.


B. The  candidate  should  satisfy  Local/Non-Local  Status  requirements  as laid down in the A.P.    Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended


C. Candidate  should have obtained a  rank  in DIET CET 2013 and  should satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed.


D. Age  Limit:  The  candidates  should  have  completed  17  years  as  on 01-09-2013. There is no upper age limit.


E. Educational Qualifications   :

       I. The  candidate  who  passed  or  appeared  for  the  10+2 Examinations  (qualifying  examination)  or  its  equivalent  are eligible to appear for the entrance test. But they should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission.


       II. The candidate  should have  secured 45 percent of marks  in aggregate  in  qualifying  examination.  The  minimum percentage  of  marks  in  the  case  of  Scheduled  Caste,
Scheduled Tribe and Physically Challenged candidates  shall however be 40 percent.’

DIET CET Exam Pattern:
diet cet exam 2013 will conduct for 100 marks,each question carry 1 mark so there are no any negative marking system to reduce the marks.Candidates have to answer the all questions in DIET CET Question paper 2013 in order to get the rank.There are So many Study Materials available in market for DIET CET Preparation along with Previous Question Papers,Model question papers.

Note:
(a) The subject and syllabi of the test shall be of the standard of Classes VIII to X of A.P. State Syllabus for Part-II &Part III of the test.
(b) The medium of Entrance Test: Question paper shall be in Telugu/English or Urdu/English and Tamil/English only.
(c) The candidates who have studied SSC/Intermediate in the medium concerned (Telugu, Urdu, English or Tamil) or who studied Telugu or Urdu or Tamil as first language in SSC or its equivalent or who studied as one of the above languages in part II in Intermediate
exam are alone eligible for admission of seats into concerned medium viz. Telugu/Urdu/English/Tamil offered by the Institution concerned.
(d) Only the candidates who obtain qualifying marks in the DIETCET shall be assigned ranks as per order of merit. However SC & ST candidates shall be given rank, irrespective of marks secured by them in DIETCET.
(e) No requests for re-totaling of marks, revaluation of answer scripts or personal identification of answer scripts will be entertained.
(f) The DIETCET will be conducted at different examination centers to be constituted at District Head quarters only and not at any other place.
(g) Tamil medium candidates should write the test in Chittoor district
Head Quarters only.
