ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్ రూరల్ డెవలప్‌మెంట్ ప్రోగ్రాం-IRDP - సమగ్ర గ్రామీణాభివృద్ధి పథకం




సమగ్ర గ్రామీణాభివృద్ధి పథకాన్ని (ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్ రూరల్ డెవలప్‌మెంట్ ప్రోగ్రాం-IRDP) కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం 1978లో ప్రారంభించింది. 1980లో దేశమంతటికి విస్తరించింది.
- ఇది గ్రామీణ పేదల ఆదాయ సామర్థ్యాన్ని పెంపొందించడానికి ఉద్దేశించిన స్వయం ఉపాధి పథకం. గ్రామాల్లో చిన్న, సన్నకారు రైతులు, వ్యవసాయ కూలీలు, గ్రామీణ చేతివృత్తులవారు దారిద్య్ర రేఖకు దిగువన నివసిస్తున్నారు. వారందరినీ పేదరికం నుంచి బయటపడేయడమే ఈ పథకం లక్ష్యం.
- ఈ పథకం కింద వాణిజ్య, గ్రామీణ బ్యాంకులు, ఇతర ఆర్థిక సంస్థల నుంచి పేదలకు సబ్సిడీపై రుణాలు అందజేస్తారు. ఇందులో ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, మహిళలు, వికలాంగులకు రిజర్వేషన్ సౌకర్యం ఉంటుంది.
- ఈ పథకానికి అవసరమయ్యే నిధులను కేంద్ర, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలు 50:50 నిష్పత్తిలో భరిస్తాయి.
- జిల్లా గ్రామీణాభివృద్ధి సంస్థలు (DRDAS) ఈ పథకాన్ని అమలుచేస్తాయి.
- DRDA గవర్నింగ్ బాడీలో స్థానిక ఎంపీ, ఎమ్మెల్యే, జిల్లాపరిషత్ చైర్మన్, జిల్లా అభివృద్ధి విభాగాల అధ్యక్షులు, ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, మహిళా వర్గాలకు సంబంధించిన ప్రతినిధులు సభ్యులుగా ఉంటారు.
- రాష్ట్రస్థాయిలో ఈ పథకాన్ని స్టేట్ లెవల్ కో ఆర్డినేషన్ కమిటీ పర్యవేక్షిస్తుంది.
- 1999 ఏప్రిల్ 1న ఈ పథకాన్ని స్వర్ణజయంతి గ్రామ్ స్వరోజ్‌గార్ యోజన పథకంలో విలీనం చేశారు
